AN OASIS ON A JOURNEY

 OF RECOVERY

GROUP MEMBER – CAMEL CLUB MEMBER

There are many groups that call the Camel Club their home. An AA group is a collection of people that identify themselves as Alcoholics and band together to meet on a stated day(s), at a certain time and at a certain place. As Tradition #5 of Alcoholics Anonymous states… “Each group has but one primary purpose – to carry its message to the alcoholic who still suffers.”  You DO NOT have to be a member of the Camel Club to be a member of any group at the Camel Club. You are welcomed to attend any and all of the groups that are appropriate for you. There are various groups that meet such as AA meetings designed for women only and open meetings, where anyone may attend, alcoholic or not. There are also ‘closed’ AA meetings where those who identify as alcoholic only may attend. We also have open and closed Narcotics Anonymous meetings -  those people who are addicted to other chemicals other than Alcohol,  Al-Anon meetings - for family and friends of the Alcoholic, and even meetings for those who are addicted but also have other issues to deal with such as depression and bi-polar disorders. View and/or print a schedule below.  Stop by the club and attend a meeting today. Meetings at the Camel Club are held daily !!!

We primarily exist on the support of its members!!  Your $100 per year is not only an investment in your future but the future of so many others.  This donation gives you the privilege of being called a member of the Club.
